27/08/2026The City Council of Finestrat launches a new edition of the Consumer Voucher with an endowment of 182,930 euros from the Alicante Provincial Council to encourage purchases in local establishments. The initiative aims to strengthen the business fabric of the municipality, promote local consumption and contribute to the maintenance of economic activity and employment once the high tourist season is over.
The Mayor of Finestrat, Nati Algado, stressed that “the Consumer Bonus has established itself as one of the most effective initiatives to support our local commerce because it generates a direct benefit for both families and companies. Every euro invested is transformed into economic activity, sales and opportunities for our businesses”.
The bases of this new call for the Finestrat Consumer Bonus have already been approved by the Local Government Board. In the coming days it will be published in the BOP and, from the following day, the adhesion period begins for establishments that want to be part of the Finestrat 2026 Consumer Bonus.
Campaign dates
For citizens, the campaign will be active from September 1 to December 13, 2026, or until the available vouchers are exhausted. During this period, the vouchers may be used exclusively in the establishments adhering to the program.
People registered in the town (as of September 1, 2026), and of legal age at the time of acquiring the vouchers, may purchase Finestrat Consumer Vouchers with a direct discount of 50%. Vouchers of €10, €20 and €50 will be made available, with a maximum limit of €200 in vouchers per person, of which €100 will be subsidised.
Appeal to Finestrat companies
The City Council has made a special appeal to all shops, hospitality establishments and service companies in the municipality to join this initiative and benefit from the increase in consumption generated by the campaign. Those businesses with an open establishment in Finestrat that meet the requirements established in the regulatory bases may participate free of charge.
The Mayor, Nati Algado, encouraged local entrepreneurs to join this edition: “We want as many businesses as possible to participate in the 2026 Consumer Bonus. It is an extraordinary opportunity to attract customers, increase sales and make visible the wide range of commercial and service options that we have at Finestrat. The more establishments that join, the greater the positive impact on the local economy.”
The adhesion period for companies will begin in the coming days, just the day after the official publication of the call in the Official Gazette of the Province (BOP), and will remain open throughout the campaign, allowing new businesses to join at any time. Interested companies must formalise their membership electronically through the platform set up for the management of the campaign, where they will be informed of the necessary documentation and all the steps to follow: https://finestrat.bonoconsumo.app
With this new edition of the Consumer Bonus, the City Council of Finestrat reaffirms its commitment to local commerce, hospitality and local services, betting on a measure that in previous calls has proven to be an effective tool to boost the economy of the municipality and favor purchases in Finestrat establishments.
