Twinned villages
The emigration of people from our village to municipalities in the south of France during the middle decades of the twentieth century gave rise to a feeling of union with Finestrat in municipalities such as Quissac (Languedoc-Roussillon Region) and Saunt Vaury (La Creusse).This fact has been reflected in numerous visits as well as cultural exchanges aimed at strengthening ties between their communities. Based on these circumstances and in common agreement with the local institutions of the three towns, the twinning acts were signed with which the union between Finestrat and these towns is promoted, taking into account that they have been the origin and destination of emigrants and immigrants.
