The City Council of Finestrat is finalizing these days the fine-tuning of its educational centers for the start of the new school year. The mayor, Nati Algado, and the Councilor for Education, Beatriz Quintillán, have visited the CEIP Balcó de Finestrat and the CEIP Puig Campana to see first-hand the work that is being carried out in both schools.
During these weeks , different painting, maintenance and gardening actions have been carried out, with the aim of ensuring that the facilities are cared for and prepared to receive students and teaching staff with all the guarantees.
The mayor Nati Algado stressed that “there is little left to return to class and from the City Council we are doing our homework so that our schools are ready. During the summer we take advantage of the period without teaching activity to carry out maintenance and improvement work that allows us to start the course with well-kept facilities and in the best conditions“.
For her part, the Councilor for Education, Beatriz Quintillán, has pointed out the importance of “maintaining constant attention to our educational centers and responding to the needs that arise, especially during the summer period, when we can carry out certain actions without interfering in the activity of the classrooms“.
