Finestrat receives €319,000 from the Alicante Provincial Council’s Plan + Cerca 2026

This aid will allow the City Council to cover current expenses and essential municipal services such as the cleaning of educational centers and municipal facilities.

The Finestrat City Council has been awarded a grant by the Alicante Provincial Council for an amount of €319,190 , within the framework of the call for “Current expenses grants: PLAN +CERCA 2026. 2nd PHASE” .

These funds are intended to cover the local administration’s operating expenses and help ensure the provision of essential municipal services for the daily functioning of the municipality. These services include the cleaning of schools and various municipal buildings , a fundamental service for maintaining these spaces in optimal condition for public use.

The councillor responsible for the Finance and Procurement department, Guillermo Lloret , emphasized that “this grant represents significant support and allows us to continue allocating resources to services that are an integral part of daily life in Finestrat. The cleaning and maintenance of our schools, facilities, and municipal buildings are essential services that we must guarantee with the highest quality.”

In this regard, the councilor pointed out that “the City Council is working to optimize public resources and take advantage of all available aid programs from other administrations. The €319,190 granted by the Alicante Provincial Council allows us to have greater flexibility to cover current expenses and continue maintaining the level of municipal services that our residents need.”

The aid is part of the collaboration between administrations to support municipalities and contribute to their economic capacity to cover the expenses derived from the provision of public services.

The Finestrat Town Council welcomes this financial contribution, which helps to strengthen municipal management, guarantee essential services and maintain the proper functioning of public and municipal spaces.
