Finestrat expands its street furniture with the support of the Alicante Provincial Council
16/10/2026The Finestrat Town Council’s Department of Traditions and Festivals is preparing a terrifyingly fun afternoon to celebrate Halloween on Saturday, October 31st , in collaboration with the 2027 L’Insomni Festival Committee. Both organizations have put together a program especially for children and families, with activities, entertainment, and plenty of surprises to enjoy one of the most anticipated and spooky events of the autumn. 
The celebration will begin at 5:00 PM with face painting. This will be followed at 6:00 PM by a parade with spooky music, starting from the children’s park on Carrer Serra Cortina and winding through the streets of the historic center until reaching Plaça de la Unió Europea, where the festivities will continue.
Starting at 7:00 PM, the 2027 L’Insomni Festival Committee will offer an afternoon snack for children (tickets: €5) and a bar with affordable prices for adults, in an atmosphere designed for sharing this Halloween evening. To reserve your spot for the snack, you can purchase tickets from the Festival Committee (meeting points: Youth Center and CEIP Balcó de Finestrat, from Monday the 19th to Friday the 23rd).
In addition, during the celebration there will be inflatables until 10:00 pm and a themed party with the most fun terror so that boys and girls can enjoy an afternoon full of fun.
From the Department of Traditions and Festivals, Councillor Sara Llorca encouraged the families and youth of Finestrat to participate in this celebration and thanked the Comissió de Festes 2027 L’Insomni for their involvement in organizing this day, which combines fun, community and festive participation.
And starting at 11:00 p.m., the party will continue with the Dance of the Festival Committee in the Sala Jove.
BUS PARA FACILITAR LA PARTICIPACIÓN
To facilitate travel, the City Council has arranged a BUS from La Cala that will depart at 4:30 pm and return at 10:15 pm (from La Fonteta).
On both the outbound and return journeys, it will stop at the commercial area and urbanizations Sierra Cortina, Terra Marina, Golf Bahía, Balcón de Finestrat and Sea Hills.
