Countdown to the terrifying and fun Halloween party in Finestrat
16/10/2026
Work begins on the new pedestrian route that will connect the elevator with the Ermita del Castell de Finestrat
19/10/2026The Finestrat Department of Culture invites residents and visitors to enjoy “Sublunar”, a clown and trampoline show that offers an original stage experience, full of humor, tenderness and acrobatics, aimed at all audiences.
The story begins with the arrival on Earth of an extraterrestrial from the Moon, traveling in a spaceship built from Earth debris that has washed ashore on our satellite. From this extraordinary encounter, the show immerses us in a surprising tale in which a new being is born, explores its surroundings, interacts with its inhabitants, and undergoes various transformations throughout its life.
Through this journey, “Sublunar” invites the audience to reflect on diversity, otherness, and the acceptance of our own changing and ephemeral nature. This production addresses, through humor, aesthetics, and the daring acrobatics of the stage, universal themes such as identity, differences between people, and the acceptance of the changes that are part of life.
With a visual and accessible stage language, the show uses humor and movement as tools to bring the audience closer to a reflection on diversity and coexistence, offering a cultural experience that can be enjoyed as a family.
Following the resounding success of “Carmencita and the Wolf” this past Saturday, the Circuit Cultural Valencià program continues in our Plaça de la Unió Europea with “Sublunar,” an artistic offering that blends contemporary circus, imagination, and emotion, inviting us to view the world from different perspectives. It’s another opportunity to share culture, enjoy the performing arts, and discover a story that reminds us that diversity is part of our nature.
The story tells of the arrival on Earth of an extraterrestrial from the moon in a spaceship built with the Earth’s debris that has been arriving on the asteroid.
This curious creature disappears upon entering an egg it carries on its head, from which a new being is born, the first of its kind on Earth. This being will undergo a series of transformations throughout its finite life, exploring its surroundings and interacting with those who inhabit them, ultimately accepting its ever-changing and ephemeral nature.
“Sublunar” will take place this Sunday, October 25th, at 12:00 noon in Plaça de la Unió Europea . The show is suitable for all ages.
Entry is free with invitation at agendafinestrat.es
