Entrepreneurship with Purpose. New Training Day in Finestrat to Plan and Set Up a Business
03/03/2026They started a year ago. 12 months of training and internships. But, above all, that they are prepared, with their corresponding approval, to work in the Administration sector or in Gardening. All of them have been part of the Puig Campana IV Workshop in Finestrat.

This noon in the Plenary Hall, the mayor Nati Algado, accompanied on this occasion, by the Regional Secretary of Employment, Antonio Galvañ and the Territorial Director of Labor and LABORA, Cortes María Martínez, have delivered the diploma that accredits their training. Also present were the Director of Espai LABORA Benidorm, Blas Martínez, the Councilor for Human Resources, Héctor Baldó and the Employment and Local Development Agent, Isabel Llorca.
In the words of the Regional Secretary of Employment, Antonio Galvañ “today is a closing ceremony, but it is the beginning of a path to travel, one stage ends and another begins in which you are the protagonists. You have all the support of the Ministry of Employment, the City Council and to think that you are now ready to enter the labor market.”
For her part , the Mayor, Nati Algado “Today we close the fourth Finestrat Employment Workshop, a workshop that means an opportunity for all those students who finish today. They do not finish, an Employment Workshop ends and a new professional opportunity begins that thanks to these certificates of professionalism will change their professional options and their future as well”
In addition to the 20 students, the “PUIG CAMPANA IV” workshop includes the hiring of another 6 people who are part of the teaching and management team.

The students of Administrative have had the opportunity to do the internships in different municipal offices while the gardening students have intervened in the conditioning and improvement of municipal green areas such as the Penya, which surrounds the historic center, the Castell or the ecological gardens of the Schools. Among other tasks, they have dedicated themselves to cleaning, clearing, installing irrigation systems or planting native species.
This project has been promoted by the City Council of Finestrat through the Department of Employment and financed by the Ministry of Sustainable Economy, Productive Sectors, Trade and Labor through LABORA and the European Social Fund.
