It will be on September 19 with three modalities of participation: Trail, Sprint Trail and Hiking.
The VII Trail Nocturna Faldes del Puig Campana is just around the corner. This edition will be held on Saturday, September 19 in Finestrat. The test, organized by the C.E. The Portell and the Department of Sports, will begin at 7:30 p.m. from the Plaça de la Unió Europea.
The event stands out for going around the emblematic Puig Campana mountain during the night, thus avoiding the high summer temperatures. To participate, you can choose 1 of the following 3 modalities:
- Night Trail: 16 km and 900 m+ of elevation gain.
- Sprint Trail: 9 km and 600 m+ of elevation gain (non-competitive mode).
- Hiking: 9 km and 600 m+ (non-competitive modality)
The mayor of Finestrat, Nati Algado, together with the Councilor for Sports, Beatriz Quintillán and the President of the C.E. The Portell de Finetrat, Vicente Climent, presented this edition.
In the words of Beatriz Quintillán, councilor for sports ” The Night Trail has established itself in the calendar as a farewell sports event to the summer. Every year more and more people participate, both from professional circuits and amateurs to run and walk through our mountain. So from here I encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity to participate, with more pleasant temperatures and with a different scenario like the one offered by our mountain at night”, said the mayor.

The VII Faldes del Puig Campana Night Trail is held on September 19 and will start at 7:30 p.m. from the Plaça de la Unió Europea. The route of this Trail, also known as “Volta al Puig Campana“, will pass through the Font del Molí, Mas de l’Oficial, Collado Pouet, Foia de Cac or Cova del Cremat, among other points.
The hiking and Sprint Trail modality will cross l’Alqueria, the Corral de Suay, the Cova del Roget and La Foia de Cac. On both routes there will be refreshments in the race and at the finish line, as well as a medal for all participants.
The Night Trail is open to the participation of all audiences (federated or not) and in the case of minors they must be accompanied by an adult or provide an authorization from the father or mother. The registration prices are €18 for walkers and €20 for runners.
