Finestrat returns this Easter to host Volabola, the largest national grassroots volleyball tournament in Spain

‘Els altres veïns’, is a project of two brothers from La Vila Joiosa developed over 30 years. José Santamaria “Santa” has collected this project in a book called “Els Altres Veïns. The Biodiversity of the Vila Joiosa in images”. The objective was to bring the fauna and flora of the Vila Joiosa in five natural environments of the municipality through 275 photographs.
In the words of the Councilor for Culture, Héctor Baldó “The book contains photographs of great aesthetic and documentary value that will allow us to know the flora and fauna of La Vila. In addition, it is interesting because it is accompanied by unpublished data and anecdotes of some species that will allow the reader to discover a surprising nature. Although the photographs have been taken in the municipality of Vila Joiosa, most of these species can be seen in any coastal municipality of the Valencian Community.”
The presentation will be this coming Friday at 6:00 p.m. at the Museu de Finestrat.
