THIS COURSE WE EXTEND THE TEACHING HOURS OF NEAE AND YOGA FOR CHILDREN. IN ADDITION, THE OFFER IS EXPANDED WITH THE LINGUISTIC COMPENSATION COURSE
From this Monday, September 7, the registration period opens for school reinforcement classes, school English and for adults, Valencian and Spanish for residents of other nationalities. As a novelty, the training proposal for the 2026/2027 academic year includes LINGUISTIC COMPENSATION groups given the large number of school-age students with the need to expand their language skills in Valencian and Spanish. In addition, we extend the teaching hours in both the Yoga course for schoolchildren and the NEAE course. The registration period begins on Monday, September 7.
In the words of the Councilor for Education, Beatriz Quintillán, “for the 1st time from the City Council we are going to provide the service of LINGUISTIC COMPENSATION IN VALENCIAN AND SPANISH. In addition, given the demand for the Yoga and NEAE courses, we are going to extend the teaching hours in order to provide a better service”. On the other hand, the councilor recalled the effort of the consistory to continue offering training sessions in languages and also in school reinforcement. “As in previous years, we are committed to languages, which are key to training, future labour insertion and the integration of our neighbours of other nationalities. For this reason, we will have Spanish groups, English groups for schoolchildren and adults; Valencian and also school reinforcement for Primary and Secondary students”.
The English courses for schoolchildren and adults will be taught from Monday to Friday in the afternoons; Valencian, Tuesdays and Thursdays, in the afternoons; Spanish for residents of other nationalities, from Monday to Thursday, in the mornings; and the school reinforcement classes will be on Mondays and Wednesdays, in the afternoons, from 1st Primary to 4th of ESO. The NEAE course will take place from Monday to Thursday in the afternoon. Yoga will be organized by age, from those born in 2018 to those born in 2023, depending on demand and its schedule will be Monday and Wednesday in the afternoon. The Linguistic Compensation courses will be taught on Mondays and Wednesdays in the afternoon.
All these classes will take place at the Finestrat Youth Centre (carrer Fonteta 36), although there may be modifications in the schedules and location and will be taught from the beginning of October to the month of June. “In addition, we are assessing the demand for this type of course in La Cala to also organize school reinforcement groups and NEAE there,” concluded the mayor.
Information & Registration
Registration for Education courses can be formalized electronically through the electronic headquarters (www.ayto-finestrat.es), in person at the entrance registry of the City Council (ground floor) and the administrative extension of La Cala by electronic format. As a requirement to obtain a place, you must be registered in Finestrat.
The price of each course is €2 for each 1-hour session. And the groups will be created whenever there is a minimum demand for places.
