Finestrat closes the CULTURAL SUMMER with the Rondalla Cordes i Veus Font del Molí and the Dolça Parranda de Tibi

Success of the public in all the activities scheduled during these last 2 months

Finestrat closes the Estiu Cultural 2026 and does so with the performance of one of the local musical associations. This Friday, August 14 at the Auditori El Castell, the Rondalla Cordes and Veus Font del Molí, we put the finishing touch to a Cultural Summer full of activities and with a success of the public in all the scheduled events.

The Rondalla de Finestrat will be accompanied by the Dolça Parranda de Tibi, an association that this year celebrates its 30th anniversary, with the purpose of disseminating and preserving the richness of the popular music of our land and of Ibero-American music. Today it has become a generational meeting, where coexistence and the desire to enjoy music together are the basis of its entity.

The Rondalla de Finestrat Cordes i Veus Font del Molí is also celebrating its anniversary. 15 years being part of our local culture. Like many other groups, it was born from the passion for music, from the passion of a group of neighbors who believed in this project and who dedication and a lot of desire and enthusiasm to form what is today the Rondalla de Finestrat

In the words of the Councilor for Culture, Héctor Baldó “it has been two months of Cultural Summer full of activities. We have had theater, we have had copla music, flamenco, jazz, boleros and soundtracks. We have had cinema on the same beach. We have shared and enjoyed culture with neighbors and visitors. In different scenarios, here in the Auditorium of the Castell de Finestrat, at the door of the Hermitage, in, in the Plaça de l’Àmfora de la Cala, in Urbanizaciones. And always with an extraordinary response from the public. This Friday we close this Cultural Summer with one of our cultural associations, the Rondalla Cordes and Veus Font del Molí, this time accompanied by the Dolça Parranda de Tibi.”
