25/09/2026The program dynamically addresses topics related to the well-being, health, and daily life of young people between the ages of 12 and 30.
The Department of Children and Youth of the Finestrat Town Council is launching a new edition of “H₂O Espai Jove Salut” (H₂O Youth and Health Space) , a program aimed at young people aged 12 to 30 that offers a dynamic space for conversation, participation, and learning about various issues related to health and well-being. The Mayor, Nati Algado, along with the councilor in charge of the department, Sara Llorca, presented the program.
The sessions are designed in a friendly and participatory format, with the aim of enabling young people to resolve doubts, share experiences and talk about topics that are part of their daily lives , moving away from the traditional format of a lecture and favoring direct dialogue.
The Councillor for Children and Youth, Sara Llorca , has stated that “With the H₂O Espai Jove Salut sessions, we aim to offer young people a space where they can speak freely and confidently about issues that directly affect them. It’s not just about listening, but about participating, asking questions, sharing experiences, and gaining tools they can apply in their daily lives. “We want health to be discussed in a way that resonates with young people—directly, dynamically, and without prejudice. That’s why we’ve prepared a program that covers a wide range of topics, from better study organization and nutrition to issues like skincare and vaping. “,” added Sara Llorca.
The first session of this new program will take place next Friday, October 2nd, at 7:00 PM at the Finestrat Youth Center (36 Fonteta Street) . Entitled “Study Techniques,” the session will offer tools and tips for learning how to better organize time, improve study habits, and tackle academic tasks more effectively.
“ We begin with a topic that can be especially useful for many young people: learning to organize themselves, optimize their time, and find study techniques that work for each individual.. We want it to be a practical, participatory session and, above all, one that provides them with resources they can use from the very beginning.“,” the councilwoman explained.
The program will continue over the next few months with new sessions focused on issues of interest to young people:
- October 16: “Meals well are also cool” , dedicated to nutrition and the importance of maintaining good eating habits.
- November 6: “Glow sense filtres” , a session on dermatology and skin care.
- December 3: “Vapes tu o et vapegen?” , which will address vaping and its potential risks.
“ The programming is designed to also listen to what worries and interests our young people . We want the Youth Center to be a vibrant space where they can come, ask questions, and find useful and accessible information.” “a,” Sara Llorca concluded.
The Department of Childhood and Youth emphasizes that “H₂O Espai Jove Salut” was created as a meeting point to talk about health in a close, clear and unprejudiced way , giving prominence to young people themselves and their concerns.
