Finestrat offers families support to manage the application for school enrolment in Infant and Primary
06/05/2026Work has been completed on the cycle and pedestrian path that connects Cala de Finestrat with the Boulevard
07/05/2026Cala de Finestrat has the ISO 9001 for Quality, the ISO 140001 for the Environment and the Qualitur Flag
In response to the accusations of the PSOE of Finestrat, the spokesman of the government team, Víctor Darío Llinares, asked them not to confuse the citizens, nor manipulate reality: “We have not lost the Blue Flag. Because you can’t lose what you don’t ask for. This government opted for ISO Quality and Environment certifications. And there they are, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and, with them, the Qualitur Flag waving on our beach in recognition of their excellence and quality.” Llinares reproached the local PSOE for deceiving and confusing citizens with their accusations “because we are talking about a key sector such as Tourism. Our Cala meets all quality parameters. And there are the ISO and the Qualitur Flag on the beach, certifying our commitment to quality and environmental protection”.
Regarding the use of social networks, the spokesman criticized that “they ask for transparency and, at the same time, reproach us for the use of social networks to publicize the government’s management. They themselves fall into contradiction. The administration has the obligation to be where the citizens are. And today, social networks are one of the main channels of information for residents. And we are especially struck by the fact that from the local PSOE we are accused of posturing by the same person who complains if he does not focus the camera on him in the plenary sessions”.
Finally, regarding municipal management, the spokesman for the government team, Víctor Darío Llinares, said: “I don’t know if they want to manipulate reality or if they don’t know it directly. You only have to take a tour of Finestrat to see in situ the management that we are carrying out from the City Council”. Among the examples, he listed the Institute under construction, the pedestrian and bicycle boulevard that goes around La Penya, the elevator to the Castell, the regeneration works of the historic center, the 2nd Nursery School, the pond of l’Alhambra, the works in the commercial area of La Cajola or the cycling and pedestrian path from Cala to the Boulevard, among others. “I think that a person who lives in Finestrat can see for themselves, just by taking a walk around the town, what we are working on. This leads us to think that they intend to deceive the public, manipulate or, in short, are completely unaware of this reality”.
