Minute of silence for the victims of the fire in Almeria
10/07/2026From the City Council of Finestrat they inform that the application period for financial aid is now open for families of babies under 3 years of age who are enrolled in the Municipal Summer School “EMUFI”. Specifically, families will be able to apply for it from this Friday, July 10 and until July 23, both included.

The EMUFI summer grants will materialise in the payment of the corresponding amount (€8/day), which contributes to reducing the cost of the School by 40%, with the canteen service included.
In the words of the Mayor, Nati Algado, “families with children from 0 to 3 years old enrolled in the EMUFI Summer School can now formalize this request, either at the City Council, at the La Cala Extension or online, through the electronic headquarters. It is our way of helping to defray part of the cost of this service by reducing it by 40%. And one more example of our commitment to work-life balance and to facilitating access to this important educational and assistance service for all, especially in summer”.
Students from 0 to 3 years old registered in Finestrat (born in the years 2025, 2024 and 2023) enrolled in the Summer School of the EMUFI Municipal Nursery School and who meet the requirements established in the bases may be beneficiaries of these grants.
The purpose of this call is to contribute to partially defray the cost of the service provided during the Summer School, favouring families’ access to a municipal educational and welfare resource. It is also intended to facilitate the reconciliation of family, personal and work life of the residents of the municipality, strengthen municipal policies to support children and contribute to the well-being and comprehensive development of minors.
The budget allocated for this line of aid amounts to €20,000
