The Minister of Culture of the Generalitat Valenciana, María del Carmen Ortí Ferre, attended last night together with the Mayor, Nati Algado and members of the local government the representation of LES ARTS VOLANT in Finestrat. Also present were the artistic director of the Palau de les Arts, Jesús Iglesias, and the director of the Palau de les Arts, Jorge Culla. 
The traveling show arrived in a large truck specially designed to be surprisingly transformed into a theatrical stage where “Notas de este verano son, zarzuelas en el camión” was represented, an agile comedy, with dialogues in Valencian, full of emotion, entertainment and laughter.
Promoted by the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía, this hilarious zarzuela filled the Plaça de la Unión Europea, as part of the “Estiu Cultural Finestrat 2026” programme.
The score of the work is meticulously woven from the great and well-known compositions of the Valencian maestro José Serrano (creator of unforgettable pieces such as La canción del olvido or El trust de los tenorios), a repertoire that is revived with lyrics adapted to the present day.
The show is in charge of the promising singers of the Centre de Perfeccionament de Les Arts, accompanied live on the piano by Cristian Arriaga and with a choreography designed by Cristina Arias.
The great objective of ‘Les Arts Volant’ is to break the traditional physical barriers of theatre and bring the beauty of lyrical art to any corner of the Valencian Community, with special emphasis on public squares and outdoor spaces so that no one has to travel to enjoy first-class music.
