Finestrat announces a powerful tourism promotion campaign in the interior of the Valencian Community and Spain
13/05/2026It is one of the oldest areas of the commercial boulevard: La Cajola. There, the works of improvement, modernization and provision of infrastructures and services enter their final phase. Specifically, the actions have been carried out since the end of the year in Tàrbena and Sella streets, also in a section of Picasso Avenue.

“We visited La Cajola, one of the areas where the first companies on the commercial boulevard were established. A few years ago we intervened in improving access in response to the requests of the business community, with a more direct, better signposted road. We are now running a project in 2 phases. The 1st is about to conclude What did it consist of? We have renewed all the essential infrastructures that are not seen and are key to daily operation such as the sanitation network, drinking water, rainwater channeling and telecommunications. We have also renewed public lighting, pavement of sidewalks and roads and signage. In short, it is about renovating and modernizing one of the pioneering areas of Finestrat. the Boulevard of Finestrat”. This was statedby the mayor, Nati Algado, during the visit she made together with the Councilor for Works and Projects, Guillermo Lloret and the Municipal Engineer of Civil Works, Óscar Llorca.

The 1st phase of the work is in its final stretch. It represents an investment of €280,000 of which €200,000 are contributed by the City Council and the remaining amount, about €100,000, by the Generalitat Valenciana through a subsidy from IVACE (Valencian Institute of Business Competitiveness). And the forecast is to execute the 2nd phase before the end of this year.
