27/08/2026On the occasion of our Patron Saint Festivities, the City Council of Finestrat has established a series of special measures to guarantee safety, mobility and coexistence during the days of celebration.
TRAFFIC
RESTRICTIONSFrom August 20 to 24, and until the completion of the cleaning work, there will be restrictions and traffic cuts in different streets of the historic center.
Residents will be able to access their properties by proving their residence, except in those streets that remain totally restricted by the scheduled events.
On Saturday, August 22, on the occasion of the Humor Parade, traffic will be cut from 8:00 p.m. in the section of Avinguda Benidorm (CV-758) and streets affected by the route.
⚠️ During processions, parades, parades and other events, additional traffic cuts may be established when circumstances require it.
TABLES, CHAIRS AND OCCUPATION OF PUBLIC
ROADSDuring processions, flower offerings and those events that require it, establishments must temporarily remove tables, chairs, dividers and other elements that occupy the public road.
♂️ WORKS AND TRENCHES
The opening of ditches and pits between August 15 and 24, both inclusive, is prohibited, except for urgent supply actions.
TIMETABLES AND NOISE
On August 20, 21, 22, 23 and 24, the musical atmosphere of peñas and portable installations can take place between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 a.m.
⚠️ Although these are holidays, the obligation to maintain a civic and respectful behavior with the neighbors is remembered. The Local Police may intervene in situations that exceed what is reasonable or that seriously affect coexistence and rest.
♂️ SECURITY AND COMPLIANCE
The Local Police will ensure compliance with the established measures. Violations may be reported and, where appropriate for security reasons, facilities, materials or other property may be removed or confiscated.
VALIDITY OF THE SIDE
The General Festivities Ordinance will remain in force until 2:00 p.m. on August 25, 2026, except for those measures that expressly establish other dates.
