La Cala de Finestrat is preparing to celebrate its festivities from September 11 to 13 with a complete program of activities designed for all audiences and with music, fun and coexistence as the main protagonists. This program was presented by the Mayor, Nati Algado and the Councilor for Traditions and Festivities, Sara Llorca.
Throughout the weekend, residents and visitors will be able to enjoy different leisure proposals, including water inflatables, local DJ sessions, a bar with popular prices, a children’s concert on Saturday afternoon, candy “firecracker” and the performance of a large orchestra that will liven up Saturday night.
The program will start on Friday, September 11 and will continue throughout the day on Saturday, with activities especially aimed at families and the youngest audience.
The night of Saturday 12 willbe one of the central moments of the festivities, with live music and a large orchestra that will put rhythm to the evening and encourage neighbors and visitors to enjoy the festive night in La Cala.
On Sunday, September 13, the festivities will also have a marked solidarity character with the celebration of the Cáritas Finestrat Solidarity Race, an initiative that will combine sport, citizen participation and solidarity as the closing of the festive program. The Councilor for Festivities and Traditions, Sara Llorca, stressed that “we have prepared parties designed for all ages, with activities for families to enjoy during the day and musical proposals to live intensely the nights in La Cala”. “We want these festivities to be a meeting point for our neighbors and also an invitation for all the people who visit us to enjoy the atmosphere, music and hospitality of Finestrat. In addition, we remind you that on Sunday the Caritas Solidarity Race returns, because the party can also be an opportunity to collaborate and help those who need it most,” added the mayor.
The Department of Festivities and Traditions encourages all citizens to participate in the scheduled activities and to enjoy a festive weekend in La Cala de Finestrat, in a family atmosphere, open and designed to share and celebrate.
Three days of partying, music, fun and solidarity that will turn La Cala de Finestrat into one of the meeting points of the region during the weekend of September 11 to 13.
FREE BUS
On the occasion of the Cala de Finestrat Festivities, the City Council has enabled a special free bus service on the 11th, 12th and 13th, with the aim of facilitating the movement of residents and visitors and promoting safe mobility during the celebrations.
The service will have schedules adapted to the main moments of the festivities, allowing both travel to the area of La Cala and the return to the urbanizations and historic center.
Thus, on Friday 11 there will be a downhill departure at 8:00 p.m . and 2 returns: at 11:15 p.m. and 2:15 a.m.
On Saturday 12, the day with the greatest festive activity, the service is reinforced with Three descent times: at 12:30, 17:30 and 20:30. The s The return service is maintained at 11:15 p.m. and 2:15 a.m., especially facilitating the return once the night events are over.
Finally, on Sunday 13, the bus will make a descent service at 9:00 a.m . and a ascent at 4:00 p.m.
The route includes stops in Finestrat La Fonteta, Sea Hills, Balcón de Finestrat, Golf Bahía, Terra Marina, Sierra Cortina, Bulevar Comercial (KFC) and Cala de Finestrat, thus bringing the service closer to residents of different residential areas and urbanizations.
The initiative aims to offer a comfortable and safe alternative to private vehicles, especially during the busiest times and at the return times of festive activities.
