09/06/2026With the aim of continuing to promote the selective collection of waste, the Department of the Environment of Finestrat celebrates a conference entitled “Recycle for the climate”. It will take place at two points: in the historic centre, Carrer L’Hort, on Friday 12 June from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and on the promenade of La Cala beach, on July 14, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
“We are going to put these information points to show how with small daily actions such as correctly separating waste, we all contribute to reducing the carbon footprint. In this way, citizens will be able to check in real time the savings in CO2 emissions generated by each waste deposited correctly and we will promote collective awareness about the transformative power that daily habits have in the protection of our planet,” said Estela Álvarez, Councilor for the Environment.
