26/05/2026
Work begins on the adaptation of a pedestrian route that will connect the Font del Molí with the beginning of the paths to Puig Campana
28/05/2026After months of learning, creativity and a lot of imagination, the children’s students of the Escola d’Art de Finestrat will show the public a small sample of the work done during this course.
About 50 boys and girls, aged between 3 and 12 years, will participate in this collective exhibition that opens next Friday, June 5, at 6:00 p.m., at the Museu de Finestrat. During the event, the diplomas will also be awarded to the participating students. The exhibition will remain open to the public until June 24 and will bring together a selection of works made throughout the course in drawing and painting classes.
During these months, the students have experimented with different artistic techniques such as charcoal, pastel, watercolor, acrylic, collage and mixed techniques, developing both creativity and personal expression through art.
The theme of the works revolves mainly around nature and the creative universe of the little ones, offering an exhibition full of colour, sensitivity and imagination. Visitors will be able to discover landscapes inspired by mountains, forests, waterfalls and marine scenes, as well as representations of animals, flowers and fruits made from a childlike and artistic perspective. Also noteworthy are compositions in which the students have worked on emotions, the seasons of the year, the changes of light and colour in the landscape. Through the different techniques used, each child has been able to experiment with textures, mixtures of colour and their own forms of expression, reflecting in each work their personality, artistic and personal evolution.
Since last September, classes have been taught at the Boulevard Training Center (formerly “Barquillero”), and also at the Finestrat Youth Center (carrer Fonteta, 36).
The exhibition can be visited at the Museu de Finestrat until 24 June. It should be remembered that the Museum is located in the Parc Alcalde Miguel Llorca, at the entrance to the historic centre, in a natural and cultural environment that is particularly attractive for residents and visitors, with wooden bridges, streams, green areas, swings, picnic areas and the Museum building itself as a cultural meeting point.
The visiting hours are as follows:
Thursday to Saturday, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Sundays, from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
