Preventive measures yellow alert due to windstorm
03/03/2026These are the 2026 child health prevention workshops and begin on Friday, February 27 in the classrooms in the morning and with families at the Youth Center
How to create a space for communication with schoolchildren and, at the same time, with their parents? Dealing with the same topic on the same day. This is the commitment of the Department of Children and Youth of Finestrat with the Health Prevention Workshops for 2026. They begin on Friday, February 27, in the morning in the classrooms of CEIP Puig Campana and CEIP Balcó de Finestrat; and in the afternoon, at 4:00 p.m., with families, at the Youth Center. The presentation by the Councilor for Children and Youth, Sara Llorca, took place there, together with Merche Baldó, director of the CEIP Puig Campana and Jordi Llorca, director of the CEIP Balcó de Finestrat.
The 1st workshop will be on Friday, February 27, dedicated to “Reinforcement of Self-Esteem. Self-confidence.” The 2nd workshop, on Friday, March 13, on “Inappropriate use of technology and social networks”. And the 3rd workshop, on Friday, April 24, to deal with “Bullying and Cyberbullying”.
“This year we have opted to group the Racó de Pares i Mares and the talks that we have been giving from Youth in the classrooms with a new formula: we are going to deal with these topics with the boys and girls of 4th, 5th and 6th grade in the morning in the classrooms. And the same day, in the afternoon, with the families. In this way, we consider that we clarify doubts and promote at home the conversation about concerns that concern everyone such as the use of social networks, bullying and also help our children to love themselves and have a strong self-esteem,” reported the Councilor for Children and Youth, Sara Llorca.
