Finestrat celebrates from March 2 to 8 the Setmana de la Dona with the slogan “Dones que fem poble”
25/02/2026Finestrat is preparing for the carnival party that will be held this Saturday, February 21. From 5:00 p.m., children who want to participate can go to the “del metge” park, on Serra Cortina street, where there will be a face painting workshop. From there the parade will leave through the streets of the historic center, animated with the music of the batukada. Then in the Plaça de la Unió Europea, there will be inflatables, a snack with the Comissió de Festes La Xirimbela, as well as music, entertainment and a bar at popular prices. To purchase the tickets for the snack, interested people can consult it at the CEIP Balcó de Finestrat and also at the Finestrat Youth Center on the 16th, 18th and 19th, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
In the words of the Councilor for Festivities, Sara Llorca, “this Saturday 21 we have a children’s Carnival party to which we hope that all the children of La Cala, the urbanizations and the historic center will come. For this reason, we have put a free bus that will leave from La Cala at 4:30 p.m. We will start at the “doctor’s” park. Then originality and fun will run through the entire town until we reach the Sala Jove and the Plaça de la UE where we will have a great party for everyone. So we are waiting for you this Saturday in Finestrat to live the spirit of carnival”.
The great costume ball designed for young people and for the older ones will put the finishing touch to this party in the Sala Jove.
