The Finestrat Ecopark is a selective collection and storage plant for waste to promote recycling and reduce the impact on the environment.
I am a private individual, what can I deposit?
The Finestrat Ecopark has a container area for free use by residents registered in the town. They can access this area with their own vehicle and deposit the different domestic (non-industrial) waste in their corresponding space (furniture, appliances, fluorescent lights…).
Up to 80 different types of waste such as wood, debris, pruning waste, bulky items, household appliances, computer equipment, tyres, fluorescent tubes, light bulbs, batteries, ink cartridges, X-rays, car oil, car batteries, solvent, paints, aerosols, sprays, flat glass, ceramics, earthenware, cans, scrap metals, metals, PVC and polyurethane.
Use for professionals
If companies/professionals need to unload larger quantities than those limited by ordinance, they can go to the adjoining CDW (Construction and Demolition Waste) Plant. There, upon payment of an amount, companies can access to deposit waste of greater volume and tonnage such as pruning, wood, cardboard and debris.

The opening hours are from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m . and from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Closed on Saturdays and Sundays and national calendar holidays. **Friday, April 10 closed for maintenance. Sorry for the inconvenience.
As a novelty, citizens registered in Finestrat can also make use of the Benidorm Ecopark, located on the old road from Finestrat to La Nucia (Foia del Verdader part, next to Terra Mítica).
ECOMOBILE
It is an itinerant and free service that facilitates the selective collection of special waste or household pollutants that can NOT be deposited in conventional containers. This initiative of the Consorci Mare de Residuos, in collaboration with the City Council, stops in Finestrat every Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The mobile ecopark alternates its location between three key points: the Paseo de La Cala, the Cantereria car park (Parc Alcalde Miguel Llorca) and Balcón de Finestrat (Avenida Granada). Users can check the exact place every week on the social networks of the Finestrat City Council and the Mare Consortium, responsible for this service. With these measures, the Finestrat City Council reinforces its commitment to sustainable waste management and makes it easier for residents to comply with environmental regulations. Just remember that Finestrat was recognized in 2024 with the Sustainable Village Award 2024.
