28/09/2026Joining the Circuit brings to the cultural program events such as “Little Red Riding Hood and the Wolf”, “Viva la Vida de Frida Kahlo”, the Sublunar Circ or the concert of the violin and guitar duo “From Paganini to Chik Corea”
The Finestrat City Council is once again part of the Circuit Cultural Valencià during the 2026 and 2027 seasons, an initiative in collaboration with the Institut Valencià de Cultura of the Generalitat Valenciana that facilitates the arrival of professional performing arts, music and audiovisual shows to the municipalities of the Valencian Community.
“This collaboration began two years ago, and since then, Finestrat has taken a historic leap forward in its local cultural scene, with over 5,000 people enjoying top-tier performances in recent years. This has solidified the municipality’s cultural offerings at the regional and even provincial levels,” said Councilor for Culture, Héctor Baldó. “For us, culture is a fundamental tool for enriching the lives of our residents and visitors, while also creating spaces for people to come together. Rejoining the Circuit Cultural Valencià allows us to continue expanding our offerings and bringing high-quality performances to our town. We are very grateful to the Valencian Government for this strong commitment to culture, which Finestrat is proud to support once again.” 
Joining this program offers a new opportunity to further strengthen local cultural programming and bring high-quality offerings to residents and visitors in disciplines such as theater, dance, circus, and music. Furthermore, it allows Finestrat’s cultural agenda to include nationally renowned Valencian companies and professionals. “Just yesterday we had the first event of the Cultural Circuit of the season with “The Ridiculous Précieuses”, a very funny adaptation of the Molière classic, for which we hung the ‘sold out’ sign.”

For this new stage, Finestrat participates in the Performing Arts (theater, dance and circus) and Music categories, which allows it to continue offering a diverse and high-quality program for all audiences.
