Finestrat hosts a talk on Women’s Rights and Motherhood in Ancient Egypt
16/09/2026The City Council is appealing to the solidarity of residents to help maintain blood reserves.
The Health Department of Finestrat Town Hall, in collaboration with the Transfusion Center of the Valencian Community, encourages residents to participate in the blood donation day that will be held next Monday, September 21st at the “Fernando Martínez” medical office (Serra Cortina street).
The donation unit will be available from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. to make it easier for all those who meet the requirements to make their donation in a comfortable and simple way.
“We remind you that donating blood is a simple, selfless, and generous act, as donations are essential to care for people who need transfusions every day as a result of surgery, accidents, medical treatments, or various emergency situations,” stated the Mayor and Head of the Health Department, Nati Algado. “I want to take this opportunity to thank the nearly 50 people who came to donate during the last blood drive, held in August. Among them were also 3 first-time donors. So, my sincere thanks and my message of encouragement to all citizens to join this initiative.
