Finestrat presents a full program of events to mark “Book Day”
18/03/2026Africa, dance, drums. This Sunday, March 22nd, at 6:30 pm, at the House of Culture, the youngest members of the community have a date with the adventures of Maya and “The Legend of Aku.” An educational concert by the company A Contra Temps.
It’s an interactive musical theatre show based on percussion and African culture. And the audience will have to overcome the musical challenges of the spirit Aku to obtain his magic feathers.
With traditional African instruments such as the djembe or the xequeré , choreographies adapted to each age and a close and visual staging, boys and girls discover that teamwork, a positive attitude and creativity can transform everyday life into a party full of rhythm and joy.
The Legend of Aku is a work by Carlos García Pérez and is aimed at children (recommended ages: 2 to 8 years old)
