Cala de Finestrat hosts the National Dog Show on October 4th

Finestrat will once again host the National Dog Show . It will take place on Sunday, October 4th, in La Cala de Finestrat, in the parking area.

Organized by the Alicante Canine Society in collaboration with the Finestrat City Council, the event is expected to have the participation of more than 100 dogs, both purebred and mixed breed.

As in every competition, different judges will assess the canine morphology in relation to the recognized standard: breed category, by age and by sex.

Registration for the competition will begin at 9:00 AM at the event venue or can be done online until September 29th at the following link:

The deadline to apply for confirmations and initial registrations (RRC) for mixed-breed dogs without pedigrees in this competition is September 29th. Owners interested in confirmation and RRC in Finestrat must register their dogs at the following link before September 29th:

The required information is: Breed, microchip number, date of birth, and variety and/or color. They must be over 12 months old to be eligible for the RRC and over 10 months old for confirmations.

Also on the day of the event, starting at 9:00 a.m. The competition itself is scheduled to begin around 10:30 a.m.
