23/07/2026The CCE informs that in Finestrat (South Coast of Alicante) the ORANGE LEVEL has been established. In accordance with this alert level, the City Council of Finestrat has adopted the following measures for this Thursday 23 and for the duration of the alert level:
Closure of municipally-owned parks, playgrounds and gardens. Cessation of outdoor teaching and outdoor sports activities. Closure of the municipal swimming pool and La Foia sports area. Cemetery closure.
Remove your vehicle from flood zones.
Avoid commuting and outdoor activities.
Do not cross waterlogged areas, basements or garages.Attention

PRE-EMERGENCY 3 DUE TO EXTREME RISK OF FOREST FIRESThe Generalitat Valenciana has activated Pre-emergency level 3 throughout the Valencian Community, in force for Thursday, July 23.
Main prohibitions:• Prohibited to travel on trails and cross-country.
• It is forbidden to light any type of fire on forest land and in the forest area of influence (up to 500 m).
• The festive-recreational use of fire has been suspended.
• Suspended works and works on forest land or its surroundings.
• Suspended authorizations for sports circulation on forest land.
• Access and circulation in certain natural parks have been restricted and sports events in forest land have been suspended.
Maximum prudence and citizen collaboration are requested to prevent forest fires.

With the RED ALERT level for temperatures in Finestrat, the following RECOMMENDATIONS are established:· Avoid sun exposure, especially during the middle of the day
· Drink plenty of fluids.
· Do not engage in intense exercise during the hottest hours.
