Finestrat proudly recycles glass. New look for the Ecovidrio glass recycling centers.

Finestrat renews the vinyl wraps on a dozen glass igloos. As a result of a collaboration with ECOVIDRIO to promote the selective collection of glass containers, especially during the summer, a dozen igloos have been wrapped with some of the town’s main tourist attractions.

You can already see Puig Campana, the Hermitage of the Holy Christ of the Remedy, the Cala de Finestrat, La Torreta… unique elements that we discover when we deposit our glass containers in these igloos.

This was announced by the Councillor for the Environment, Estela Álvarez, along with the Councillor for Waste Management, Tomás Sellés . The locations include Avenida Marina Baixa, the Balcón de Finestrat residential area (Carrer Oviedo), Golf Bahía (Carrer Illa Mallorca), Sierra Cortina (Carrer Londres), and Terra Marina.

The slogan: Finestrat PROUDLY recycles glass. “This initiative reinforces our commitment to sustainability and the importance of continuing to promote the recycling of glass containers. This is a priority we keep very much in mind, especially during the summer, with our participation in the ECOVIDRIO Green Flags movement,” stated Estela Álvarez, Councilor for the Environment and Agenda 2030.
