Starting Monday the 14th, the pavilion will have uninterrupted opening hours from Monday to Sunday, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
“Finestrat gets you in shape,” whether you’re young or old, and now even if you’re younger. Because this year the Department of Sports is launching a new course: “KIDS ON THE MOVE,” which will focus on psychomotor skills and include cooperative and traditional games.
This activity will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the new Sports Activities Room of the Finestrat Pavilion.
• For boys and girls born in 2023 and 2024, the schedule will be from 5:15 p.m. to 6:15 p.m.
• And for boys and girls born in 2022 and 2021, the schedule will be from 6:15 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.
Classes begin on Thursday, October 1st.

Aerobic Dance, Functional Training and Weight Training
In addition, Aerobic Dance and functional training classes are returning. These will also be held in the new sports activity room in the pavilion, located just inside the entrance hall, in the right wing.
These activities will begin on Friday, October 2nd, and anyone 13 years of age or older can participate.
• Aerobic dance classes will be on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
• Functional training classes will be on the same days, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The price for each activity is €20/month.
In the same building, users will also find the WEIGHT ROOM , renovated just before summer, with twice the space and new equipment. Starting Monday, September 14th, it will be open continuously from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., Monday through Sunday.
For those who want to enjoy “ OUTDOOR SPORTS”, outdoor classes will resume from Monday, September 14th with maintenance gymnastics in the Plaça de l’Àmfora in La Cala, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Pilates classes at the La Foia sports complex will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Both activities are free and registration is not required.
In the words of the Councilor for Sports, Beatriz Quintillán, “In Finestrat, we are very clear about the importance of promoting healthy habits for all ages, from the youngest to the oldest. That’s why, with the slogan ‘Finestrat gets you in shape,’ we’re back with this program that includes outdoor activities, functional training, aerobics, weight training… And, as a new addition, ‘Kids on the Move,’ a space for play, movement, and fun where they will work on their psychomotor skills through different activities adapted to their age. The activity will combine exercises and movement dynamics with cooperative and traditional games, fostering values such as camaraderie, participation, coordination, and teamwork. It’s a program designed for the youngest children to enjoy an active and fun day while developing their motor and social skills.” 
NEW HALL OPENING HOURS: Monday to Sunday, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
The councilwoman also highlighted the extended opening hours of the sports hall, which, starting Monday, September 14, will be open continuously from Monday to Sunday, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. “This way, we offer more options for balancing sports with work, studies, and family life. It’s a clear commitment to more accessible municipal facilities that serve our residents.”
