More than 60 American players participate in the I Finestrat International Volleyball Camp

They are already here. They have already arrived in Finestrat. 60 American players with their families. From 9 to 12 July they participate in the I Finestrat International Volleyball Camp. It is the 1st International High Performance Volleyball Campus that is played throughout the Valencian Community. It is organized by the Finestrat Volleyball Club, hand in hand with ExactSports, as a result of the agreement with USA ScholarShip and with the support of the Department of Sports of Finestrat.

In addition to the 60 players from the USA, 40 local players also participate in this camp. All with ages between 13 and 18 years, therefore, children’s, cadet and youth categories. During the next 4 days they will attend high-level technical, tactical and physical sessions in the municipal pavilion of Finestrat, they will also do specific work aimed at high performance; in addition, they will have access to information about sports and academic scholarships at universities in the United States.

The Councilor for Sports, Beatriz Quintillán, accompanied them at the opening of the Campus: “We are very excited about this experience that began to take shape in the recent edition of the Volabola Tournament. Then they signed the first agreement in the entire Valencian Community between our Finestrat Volleyball Club and the USA Scholarship entity, specialized in these exchanges that are not only sports. They are also a cultural exchange and, without a doubt, an unforgettable experience for all the participants on and off the court. There are a hundred players, 60 American and 40 from the local club, who will have the opportunity to perfect their technique and, at the same time, make friends and strengthen ties with young people who come from the USA.
