Finestrat celebrates the 10th edition of its Gastronomic and Traditional Market on the weekend of April 11 and 12

L’Ereta, Festival Declared of Local Tourist Interest, is held on Monday, April 6 at the Font del Molí. Organized by the Department of Festivities, in collaboration with the Comissió de Festes La Xirimbela, from 12:00 p.m. there will be a varied program to enjoy this playful day of coexistence at the foot of Puig Campana, in a privileged enclave. Children’s workshops, inflatables, xirimita and tabalet, the music of La Gran Babylon and a fun photo booth are some of the attractions that residents and visitors will find on this holiday in which the bar of the Comissió La Xirimbela will not be missing.
“It is one of the most popular festivities of our calendar fester,” explained the Councilor for Traditions and Festivities, Sara Llorca. “From Sant Antoni i Sant Blai, up L’Ereta, in the Dilluns de Pasqua. An important appointment for all the finestratins and visitors who, every year, are to this traditional celebration, but to menjar-nos la mona i gaudir d’un gran dia per a què hem preparat divers actes per a tots els públics”.
From 12:00 in the morning at the Font del Molí there will be bouncy castles for the little ones, musical entertainment with xirimita and tabalet, children’s Easter workshops, puppets, photo booth and orchestra with La Gran Babylon.
All this programming will be accompanied by the bar at popular prices with the best tapas and sandwiches by the Comissió de Festes La Xirimbela.
To prepare for this whole day, Sara Llorca chaired the meeting for the coordination of security devices, parties, security, cleaning and technical services.
