As in recent editions there will be a Tapas Contest and the best flamenco atmosphere. Live music, horse parade, exhibition of sevillanas, castanets workshop and a tapas contest to publicize the local gastronomy and encourage the visit of neighbors and tourists.
“The April Fair returns to our Cove,” said the mayor of Traditions and Festivities, Sara Llorca.We are back looking forward to celebrating this event dedicated to Andalusian culture, on the shore of our beach, with the tapas that the bars and restaurants will prepare for us from Thursday, April 30. Gastronomy, music, colour, dance, guitars, clapping… For our part, we invite you to come with your flamenco costumes, on Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 May”. The Mayor, Nati Algado, was present at the presentation, together with the mayor of Fiestas, Sara Llorca and the Councilor for Beach, Estela Álvarez.
The April Fair is an explosion of Andalusian culture and a perfect time to experience flamenco at its best. “We are not Seville but we are La Cala de Finestrat. And this is a festive event that we are always asked about, neighbors and visitors, who are lovers of flamenco and popular gastronomy. So we are waiting for you all this weekend of May 2 and 3 on our beach, La Cala de Finestrat,” saidthe Mayor, Nati Algado.

Saturday, May 2
12:00 p.m. Start of the Fair with stilt walkers, exhibition of horses from the Yeguada de Saray, dancers and flamenco group Las 7 lunas. From Avenida Marina Baixa (Magical Splash-Bar 56).
12:45h. Arrival at Plaça de l’Àmfora.
1:15 p.m. Vermouth tasting. Plaça Àmfora pergola.
5:00 p.m. Flamenco dance demonstration.
6:00 p.m. Castanets Workshop. There will be a gift for those who come dressed as flamenco.
6:45 p.m. Performance of flamenco musical group and dance.
7:00 p.m. Photocall.
8:30 p.m. Switching on the lights.
10:00 p.m. DJ session.
10:30 p.m. Photocall.
